Dr Rajandra Kumar Karupiah is a seasoned Orthopaedic Surgeon with demonstrated record of accomplishment in efficient patient evaluation, diagnostics, treatment planning and in performing orthopaedic surgeries. Diligent and meticulous professional with over 15 years of experience in healthcare.
He started his medical education with Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree before proceeding with Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with excellent academic records. He obtained his Master of Orthopaedic Surgery (MOrth) specialization degree and Fellowship in Spine Surgery.
He has vast experience in general orthopaedic and trauma management. He is also experienced in chronic pain management such as ultrasound and image guided injection for the shoulder, knee, hip and spine.
Dr. Rajandra Kumar is a Life Member of Malaysian Spine Society and at the same time an active member of Malaysian Orthopaedic Association and AO Trauma.
He received Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang in 2014 for his excellent services in Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan.
He provides consultation at SASMEC @IIUM, IMU Health Clinic, IIUM Specialist Centre (IMSC), Putra Specialist Hospital Kajang, Pantai Hospital Ampang and Darul Makmur Medical Centre (DMMC).
